Developed by Junior Achievement International, the Global Learning of the Business Enterprise program (GLOBE), is a dynamic high school program that teaches the value of international trade and the practical skills necessary to operate in a global market. GLOBE replicates international business by forming student-run, joint venture collaborations between two schools located in different countries.

Recently, Yerevan School #132 established a student exchange on the Internet with Junior Achievement students in Salem, Oregon. JAA students negotiated a trade agreement with their Oregon-based partners exporting wooden zodiac sign necklaces to them and importing candies shaped like flowers from the Salem school. When the contract expired, final sales and profits were calculated and distributed.
This program is made possible thanks to school computer labs sponsored by the U.S. Information Service.
